Brock D. Ridenour, MD FACS is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon who specializes in facial rejuvenation surgery and rhinoplasty. After serving as director of Washington University's Division of Facial Plastic Surgery for 12 years, he has been in private practice since 2003.
Dr. Ridenour completed his undergraduate studies at Yale University, where he graduated with honor and distinction in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry. He attended Tulane University Medical School and later completed a post-graduate program in Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwest Medical Center in Dallas. He completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle before moving to St. Louis in 1992.
Dr. Ridenour is a Fellow of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American College of Surgeons. He is certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He serves on numerous professional regional and national committees.
Well respected by his peers, he is a frequent national lecturer and author of many book chapters and articles on cosmetic and nasal surgery. His office serves as a physician training site for Lumenis Corp., a leading manufacturer of aesthetic laser technology, including Intense-Pulsed-Light (IPL) and the LightSheer hair removal laser. He is also a member of the Medicis Aesthetic Advisory Council, a select group of physicians chosen to provide feedback and advice to the makers of the popular facial filler, Restylane.
